Use the last Diablo. Its working fine, and the new programs are being made for it. If you want the extra cool value, you can get Debian or Android (among others) working from your memory card. I haven't really tried those, but I'm sure other people can help.

Thanks for your response. I followed your advice and loaded Diablo 4.2008.36-5, and everything seems to work just great. So far the battery seems to hold up just fine.

I've had my N810 for two days. It is a replacement for a 770 that wouldn't charge the battery.
I purchased a "open box" device with an OS # 1.2007.42-19.
I've been reading in this forum that some have had problems with the latest OS, like poor battery life and other problems.
I've downloaded two recent versions of the OS
4.2008.23-14
and
4.2008.36-5
What would your suggestions be for an upgrade (if any).? If I'm going to upgrade I think it would be a good time before I put much on the machine.
