    CES 2009 is January 8-11, 2009;
    2 months later is March 8-11, 2009

    Personally I think if Nokia doesn't announce a compelling replacement by CES they have defacto given up the market for MIDs.

    OK, sounds nice to talk about ship dates for the next Internet Tablet.

    But what features old/new will it have?

    Oi, thats a risky question as the last thread to go there already has over 1300 posts.
    I just hope it doesn't make my n800 too obsolete.

    Voted for the June option. Maybe it will be out in March, but I really don't hold my breath on that...

    It seems a bit worrying to me that the "quiet desperation" option has apparently gone mainstream.

    Karel,
    What I see as more interesting is people have changed focus slightly from waiting for Nokia to produce a kickass piece of kit and are actually getting of their arses and identifying what is needed ourselves.

    I am happy to wait and would rather not rush this as long as we know where they are upto and that our voices are heard.

    If they don't come out in March 2009 then what? Buy a competing device? I don't think I have seen one yet, at least for me the OpenPandora is not one.

    That's right, but from now to March 2009 there is a long time. some new products will come out for Christmas and I bet that at CES 2009 we will see a bit of new stuff coming up. As the time goes by the ground will become more crowdy. I would not be suprised to see ASUS and ACER to introduce nice tablets... and Gigabyte is working hard... It would be a pity for Nxxx to loose the head ground they have today.

    didn't we have a poster on here whose wife was the admin assistant to a higher up in nokia, and could provide definitive answers to the launch dates of these products.

    what was his name again? where is his "oh-so-reliable" information?
