Dan, you are not making much sense, sorry.

So let me get this straight, you "reflashed" your tablet. Aka you restored it to factory settings? Did you make a backup? If you did, you are in luck, because it will automatically reinstall your programs. If not, you have to do it yourself.

To turn a DVD into a format playable by the tablet...

Use a DVD software to make it into a .avi file (search google for this)

Then, turn off the tablet, plug in the USB, and turn it on. This is to make sure everything is working.

On your Windows or Linux or Mac computer, you should see a new "Removable Drive."

    Open this drive...

Now, there should be some folders, like Map and .atp, etc.....

Do not care about these folders. Instead, make a new one called "Movies" or "Media" or whatever. It does NOT matter.

Move the .avi file you made into the folder you made.

Eject the Nokia, and open the media player. It should automatically find the files.

    Hit play!!!

FYI: The maps take a LOT of space, so I don't think a full DVD will fit, unless it is really low quality. If you don't use the Maps, you can delete them!

Here is a video by a former forum member which might help you.

You might want to look at other tutorials on this site for help with the N810.

This is an invalid conclusion, completely unsupported by the messages in the thread that precede it.

Several members have posted links to tutorials, programs and wiki entries that address your questions, as well as spelling out step-by-step directions on how to accomplish the specific tasks for which you sought help. Short of driving or flying to Miami Beach and reading the information/documentation to you and/or performing the tasks for you on your tablet, I see little more that can be done by the helpful folks on this forum...

The maps can be downloaded from within the "Map" program.
