i don't often read back over what I put but the fractal thing has stuck in my mind.
it was when I created a desktop inside a desktop last night that I realized that I had done it
it was a very simple widget mirroring another existing widget but meant I was on infinite series of (very slow cos it killed cpu) jumps
I noticed that the svn got updated so I gave it a try.
Some of the files have got MSDOS line endings (cr/lf instead of just lf, shows up as ^M in some editors). This is a problem for some files, in particular the postinstall script - 'sh' will barf on scripts with ^M in them.
The update that Gary checked in fixed that problem. Thanks! There are a couple of other issues w.r.t. files in the .deb, which I may come back to if I can get enough time off in the evenings!
EDIT: Attached is a patch to current SVN (r69) which updates Makefile to include the new .png files. The patch is in a tar file to allow it to be attached.
