I am new to OS2008. I have installed maemo VMware on my system to start the development. When I started the emulator, I found that the browser on it is not responding. Can anybody help me here?

Also if I want to develop a Java application and run it on the emulator, how do I go about it? The JaLiMo stack is only available for Armel and not for i-386. Is there any work around?
