I've no problem with Internet Tablet. Nokia has already defined that gendra for the market. Invented words which need a marketing campain to define add another step to the marketing process that waists time and resources. If you must, why not nethand which has a route of netbook and relates to the differentiating pocketable size.

I guess it's time to rap up this thread:
- my takeout from this thread is that "NetPad" is the strongest option discussed here. The storyline would go then "Maemo is software designed for Mobile NetPads". But, as said before, the word "NetPad" is still too Internet-centric while one can do so much more with the device that will be powered by Maemo 5. Smartphone and Internet Tablet are not an option. The search continues inside Nokia. Thanks for all the inspiring ideas!
I think Eiffel has the right idea. Why invent a new word? "Pocket computer" is an intuitive, every-day kind of term ... and in ten years, we can just call it a "computer," because all computers will be that size :^) .
Also, not to complicate things even more, but it seems to me that the NIT almost deserves a name of its own. No one else is really making anything that's comparable, in terms of providing a pretty complete, full-featured personal computer, with an open software platform, in such a small package.
