I used to have some crashes when using google maps instead of openstreetmaps. I think it was the POI database that was messing things up.
I deleted the POI database file and it fixed it for me too.

My install of Maemo mapper has gone screwy.
I keep on getting the hour glass image in the top left corner and when I try to zoom in or out it adds extra hour glasses.
I tried to uninstall this and Agps and then re-install but the same happens. Are there left over files that I should delete?
