    Any guesses?
An arm and a leg, compared to N8x0 ? :-)

In fact, I think I can make out the light sensor too (and maybe the buttons ?). It seems that they swapped the order of cam and sensor, as have been suggested before, so cam on top.

I can live with that, however this thing is even less usable (yes, apparently that was possible!) for command line use than the N810:
    • only one shift key
    • look where they put the Ctrl key
    • where's the ESC button?
    • [-+'] are Fn-combos now and [<>^%~] are gone altogether
    • almost all the Fn-combo symbols are on different keys so everyone who managed to get familiar with the N810's layout will have to re-learn this one.

Also, I don't see a stylus anywhere in that box :-(

The only improvement over the N810 is that it has ridges on the home keys.

I really wish they'd let the E-series people have a go...

Edit: Ok, maybe Esc is still on the front of the device somewhere

With "click outside dialog to close", you don't need one, really. That's at least my impression when trying out the concept on a ESC-less touchscreen device.

You need Esc for command line.

X-term buttons are still there.. nothing stops you from remapping the keyboard to your usage though, unlike other mobile OS'es. It's all XKB.

I just meant Android 1.5 Final versus Maemo 5 Beta 2. Things will be different obviously with Maemo 5 Final and Android 2.0 Final.

With that kind of simplified keyboard, I guess it's actually targeted at the same audience as N97. Bummer.
