    Saving webpage for offline reading

So, I'd like to be able to save pages for offline reading. I'm wondering if people have ideas for this?
I used to use the "save as" command in Opera, but it wouldn't always work correctly. And, as of now, I can only select "all text" in screen because the stylus moves the entire screen, I can't just select the text I want.
I had tried Abiword before, but was never able to get it working (yes, I'm a linux new guy, but reasonably savy when told how to get things done)...so, any creative ideas? Do I try Abiword again? I see I can edit the Opera ini file for the ability to select text. These are probably my best bets, huh. Or, do any others save for off line reading and haven't had any new issues with the latest 2006 OS, oh ya, I'm using the latest OS as well.

    Thanks everyone for your time..
