The mafw-gst-eq-renderer replaces the mafw-gst-renderer. I don't think this will help with MediaBox which is using GStreamer directly.
MediaBox doesn't have a mafw backend right now. Maybe somebody wants to create one?
This is a known bug with compilation albums where there are several artists.

Shame .. makes it a unusable if you have several compilation albums- all other features are great - when is this bug going to be fixed or is there a workaround.
Getting GUI bugs - losing the "reduce to smaller window" button in up left corner. It shows up as an X, and fails to do anything, either reduce window or close program.
I must force the program to reduce my pressing the camera button.
Also, tracks that are paused for more than a few minutes always resume at the start of the track, not where they left off.

Current version have almost all the GUI (volumebar is left only).
If Joshua will give the new design, it'd great.
The most needed thing at the moment is working D-Bus methods. I can post one more teaser tomorrow, when finally get home
@pycage plz push out a new mediabox. there are two (annoying to me) bugs in the one in -testing that you've already fixed in svn: the volume getting reset on every track, and one where a various-artists album is treated as multiple albums in album view. looking forward to the new release.
pycage, I have one feature request. Currently, the "Keep display lit" preference has three options: never, while playing and yes. Would it be possible to add an option to keep lit (or at least not to lock) when the device is plugged in to power? I don't even mind if it dims, since my morning commute is at 4:30 am and it is dark, but if you can keep it from locking, that would be great...But only when plugged in to power.

Volume bug will be fixed. The issue with compilation albums with multiple artists will be fixed. Some UPnP will be fixed. There will be a D-Bus interface so that other apps (e.g. widgets) can control MediaBox. Better UI performance. fmboost will be utilized automatically when using the FM transmitter, if you have it installed. Integrated YouTube browsing. Oh, and hopefully finally support for the N8x0 devices (Diablo).
