for the purpose of tunneling: does the kernel has mppe surport compiled in?

The kernel does not have support. You need to flash a new kernel, one that was compiled with CONFIG_CRYPTO option. The rest of mppe support can be done by modules.

i see,

did already flash the whole os, but is there a howto on flashing the kernel?

The easiest way is from Linux. Download the flasher and use:

flasher -k zImage-file-name -f

But it can also be done from the tablet itself. See here for details:

Since Diablo, kernel flashing on-device is built-in with fiasco-flasher.

That's because your browser doesn't recognize the filetype. Clicking File|Save Page (or whatever it is in your browser) should work.
