770 from nikolajhendel received today in fine shape 
this thing is scaringily lighter than my n800, and it is now charging next to my n800. Hope to get a chance to buy a RS-MMC at 1-2gb to be able to test (or NFS over USB..)

good to hear.
When I "rewoke" it to send it off - I was amazed at how much I like the design over the N800. The N770 doesn't compare in hardware, but in the look and feel compartment it wins.

Some cards are stable only at 24, real rs-mmc can do only 16 or 12MHz in 770. Or if mmcmobile ones are hard to get or too expensive it is likely that current MLC flash based 4GB SDHC cards are half-size inside (but it is hit and miss). There are also threads about using microsd card with hacked regular micro-to-full sd adapter or 3-in-1 adapter.

I am looking for a 770 as well to port Xournal on older Maemo versions.. if you happen to have one you don't use, I am willing to spend up to £50 shipping included.
