Kinda noob question, but has anyone made/found a Maemo (Diablo) software that pauses audio/video playback on the NIT and lets you know your phone is ringing?

I've been using the NIT ith headphones as a MP3 player today and missed a couple of important calls (job searching). It would have been nice if the NIT had a notifier app (my phone is an E90).

Thanks.

I was wondering about this as well, but with SIP calls.

I have found that if you are using the built in media player, when a SIP call comes in, the media player pauses. All other audio programs seem to continue.

phonelink can fire a DBus signal when your phone receives a call.

You'll have to find a way to listen for this signal and switch the media engine off then ...
