Hi All,
can anyone suggest an easy soultion for software for my 810 which has album covers and a suitable PC application to rip and sync with. I'm trying to use canola, which is really neat however when I sync it with windows media player I loose all the album/artist info and cover art! Really bloody anoying as I've spent ages ripping to wav for max quality! PLease help somebody as I'm on the verge of throwing it out the window and buying an iPod !!!

Not sure you're going to find anything like what you're talking about. I don't believe that WAVs store the artist/ album information like MP3s or M4As do.

Canola is actually the easiest thing I've ever used... there's no need for a PC app to sync. What I do is rip the CD to high quality MP3 (via K3B, but you can use anything really), place that album in its own folder, and then copy it over to my tablet.

if you need losless + id3 tag info- flac is the way to go - but flac on n810 is not supported iirc.

FLAC on N810 is supported through mplayer (MediaBox does play it, e.g.).

and there's a plugin that lets you play flac in the standard media player too. Of course, since it doesn't read tags, it's a bit annoying.
