I am looking at using the IT at work as a replacement for a piece of equipment that came from the ark.

The IT will work perfect except for the fact that I will need to print to a Espon Impact printer, which has a parallel/serial port and a usb port.

I was wondering if the IT can print in usb host mode to a usb printer?

I have just bought the IT, love it and still learning the ropes.

Thanks

None of the apps on the device can print (i.e. they don't have that option).

It's certainly possible to print, try a search for "cups", assuming you can get the source for a driver for the device and assuming whichever program you want to write data to the printer knows how to communicate with it (which for your printer, assuming it's one of the old tooth fed things, is probably known, but do check).

Maybe it's possible to print via cups from debian, like easy-debian/mer?
