I don't want to sound like I'm whining, but I liked the old theme better. Is there a way to include that as a selectable option? IE, default theme vs legacy theme? If not, then no biggy.
Also, the new posts search doesn't show me which threads I'm subscribed to (and it took me a while mousing over things to realise that the replies count was the "first unread post" - perhaps a title="Go to first unread post" would help?)
It's non-intuitive, that's for sure. Perhaps a tool tip can be provided.
But wow, it's such an improvement being able to go down a vertical column and middle-click on each reply count (to open in a new tab), compared to the old way of locating a tiny icon in a different position for each topic.

That would help, especially on a PC.

Yep, once you know it's there, it's much, much easier to use.

What is missing, though, is an indication of whether there are any unread messages in a thread; I think the presence of the old, small, icon used to be that indication. Now, the reply count is always present, so I don't see an easy way to tell if there are unread messages without opening the thread.
Another vote for a black/dark background theme.
Also, seeing "Re: The new talk.maemo.org theme" in big bold letters above each post seems redundant to me and takes up a lot of space.
One issue:
With the old setup I could just hover the mouse pointer over a thread and see the first paragraph of the first post (as a yellow floating hint). This saved a lot of time when wading through new posts -- I didn't have to actually open a thread to see if it was something I should read.
So I was browsing ITT with the old look, clicked a link and hit the new one. Funky
This them while a good design, is just large in font and graphics. Not saying that it needs to be .6em or anything, but everything is based off of a design of 1em font; and that takes up space on any screen pretty quickly. Granted, it scales well, but that's just a designer's eye talking.
Looking forward to taking a better look at this on my ITs. I've got a feeling that it will work better there, especially in microB because its a lighter-weight theme.
Of note, username doesn't translate from ITT to talk.maemo.org; that would be an interesting database merge, and probably one no one wants to touch... but its something there.
That would help, especially on a PC.

Seconded.
This. Since it wasn't mentioned before, I was wondering if I am missing something. Is there any indication if a thread or forum has new posts since the last visit? This is one of the most important indicators in a forum, and it just seems to be missing.
Also clicking the number of replies to get to the latest one really isn't intuitive in the slightest. It should at least be hinted at in some way.
