Hi, i need to make screencast of maemo desktop. I need to encode
this screencast to some movie format(mpeg, avi, etc.) but i need to do it as quick as i can. Software coders are to slow for reeltime screencast. Does Nokia N810 have some hardware movie coder? How can i use it in c++ program?

Best suggestion I can give is to use X11VNC on the tablet and do the screen recording on a computer connected to the VNC session. It's not perfect, but probably the quickest/easiest approach. The other alternative is to get a scratchbox image loaded up and run your screen cast through the virtual Maemo machine. Not sure if it helps but I know in the apps/devel section of the fora there was mention of a way of getting the SDK running under windows with virtually no effort...
