As of today, when I use "Minimalist Light" on my N800 the font is too big!
"Minimalist Dark" font is much better, however I would like a theme that cuts off the "Forum" column (which is not necessary on the NIT display) and then make the font a little bigger.

Also, I would be nice if somehow my N800 would default to full screen when I go to the talk/maemo.org link.

any luck figuring out the javascripts?
I'll move font back on next release. I had boosted it because the browser I was testing with font looked small but it appears that default browser boosts font size even if you set it to normal font size. I havn't figured out javascripts. To tell the truth the theme is a hacked up iphone theme and I removed a mess load of javascript already. I've considered redoing the theme from scratch with all the code being mine but it would take a lot of time and I don't know the future of maemo.org with meego right around the corner.

minimalist is very handy on n900 but not on a big screen. It could be handy to be able to choose the skin by device in options :
- default theme on big screen
- minimalist on n900

yep, the way i have it set up is that i have a default set in my profile, but then select minimalist dark on the N800 so that when i fire up the forum there, i get minimalist, while on the desktop i get classic dark

Unusably huge text IMO...

My ideal theme would be minimalist with "talk.maemo.org" font sizes

anyone else noticed that the latest theme update seems to no longer focus the browser on the first unread post of a thread if one click the post count?
