http://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials...-battery-icon/

I was cleaning out old bookmarks today and stumbled onto this. It makes an awesome vector based green glowing battery meter. I was wondering if it would be possible that someone, preferably anyone with more graphics skill than I have, could convert this into the required images needed to replace the default battery icons used in the NIT so I could use this icon instead. Now obviously there's various levels that would have to be used, but I'm sure that those could easily be created too (I think there's 5 icons total that are used) as well.

Now then again, on the flipside, at that icon size, would something like this even be practical, or would all the "wow" kinda go out the window? If it would, then I'll just forget the idea, but if it can somehow be preserved, then I'd love to try it.

Well, I guess you could replace the icons for advanced power applet. This would look nice in mer.

In "/usr/share/icons/hicolor/40x40/hildon", there are:

wow

that would look nice as a tiny icon or as a big fullscreen thing.
I like seeing things up at fullsize if requested

watch my video (if you haven't already) and you will see what I mean.

this is from a long time ago, but its another applet i often ponder about for brightness control.

Thought I'd bump this to see if anyone (hopefully someone with way more graphical prowess than me) could create a fancy battery icon set for the NIT similar to the one I listed above. I'm still interested in having this.

I gave it a try to make a set to mimic that iphone battery...just cant get it to look right as small as it needs to be though. I thought of a simple but kinda cool set...hangman, the lower the battery gets, another "piece" added. Any thoughts?

I will work on it tonight and tomorrow and see what I can come up with on it.
