..and haven't got any problem with GTalk and application repository?

I couldn't access neither to one nor to the other!

Would anyone be so kind to send me his router configuration in case it is working flawlessly? I already tried all and its opposite: enabling / disabling the router's firewall, changing the DNS resolving from auto to man, updating firmware etc., no chance.

It's not a 770 configuration issue since I tried it at work using a Linksys access point and worked like a charm

I'll leave it here as a future reference: just need to open the 5222 port on the router, despite the windows client was running correctly, the nokia 770 didn't until I done this.

I had this problem in past. You must disable the DHCP in modem settings: Home window -> DHCP -> put point to No DHCP.

You mean on the router settings? I'll try it out, I had some problems in the past with the Ubuntu workstation, tough: if I set DHCP off, I won't be able to connect to the internet with it. Anyway, Ill see what happens and if I can run the nokia this way, I'll try to get help from the Ubuntu community

Thanks for the moment
