The tablet itself with the Open Source apps available does a far better job at everything else than the correlating Palm OS apps. But I am looking forward to using the tablet to read both my Ebooks in PDB and PDF!

OK, so I tried to install and the first time it said that the install app was corrupt.
I redownloaded and transfered via usb to tablet and this time it says Cannot Install, missing files.
3 files were listed all of which had "lib" in their title.
I Downloaded this install file straight from the Garnet website.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Anyone have the full package that they can send or point me to?
Thanks!

TA-t3:
Yes it is the 2008 version of Garnet Emulator. When I started to install gave me the error that said cannot proceed, missing "lib" files...which is where the 3 files were listed.
The actual install file has no "lib" in the name.
I am assuming these are "library" type files that are part of the installation. Maybe they are for something to make it interact with the tablet OS itself?

@vvaz: I'm aware of mkdir -p on the desktop, but I have not checked if the tablet version supports it - lots of stuff is busybox-based there. So to play it safe I used two steps.
@coosbaytv: I installed many of my first Garnet VM applications from my Palm PDA as follows:
1: Use FileZ or some other tool to bluetooth the application to the tablet (just turn on BT on the tablet and make it visible first). A pop-up on the tablet will show the application as a <something>.prc and ask where to store it. I had made a prc directory on one of my SD cards for this.
2: Start Garnet VM on the tablet, hit 'install', and use its filemanager to navigate to the place where the .prc was stored, and select it.
3: That's it. After that it should show up in the Garnet VM launcher, but sometimes with a different name from the one you will see when you have the actual GVM running (which is where you can see the familiar PalmOS home screen).
4: .pdb files can be transferred and installed the same way, use FileZ for this.
5: If you already have an SD card with Palm applications installed then you can also use that one directly as-is, see my earlier posting about how to set up Garnet VM to use an SD card.
6: Edit: Unlike a real PalmOS PDA Garnet VM can actually see multiple SD cards.. just add more (as 1, 2, 3 etc.) and put them in different subdirectories on the physical card(s) you have. Not that I think I will need this feature much, but it's good to know it's there. See this post by Bunanson (and the whole thread really): http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=288060&postcount=9
