I have the digia atscene youtube app installed, and Im wanting to store the downloaded videos on the external card rather than the internal. The default path to the stored videos is ..... /media/mmc2/atscene What would the command be to create a sym link after I move the atscene folder from mmc2 to mmc1? I already tried ln -s /media/mmc1/atscene /media/mmc2/atscene and it said operation not permitted. Any ideas?

You cannot use symlinks on a FAT partition; you would have to reformat /media/mmc1/ to ext* to use symlinks.

Don't reformat /media/mmc1 to anything other than FAT.

There's no way to configure the application to point to a different location?! That's just crazy.

that option is not there on mine.... since there are two versions of the same program but with different names (atscene/digiaatscene) could this be a difference?

I've got the option here. I've got "digiaatscene" - "digiaatscene" is versioned at 1.0.3 where as "atscene" is versioned at 1.0.1. Go figure

Ive got digiaatscene as well and according to app manager my installed version is 1.0.2, and there is no update apparently. Im enabling extras-devel to see if that gives me anything for it...other than that, Im not sure.
