im wondering if it is possible to get an internet connection via usb cable. that means without the wifi?

what i want to do is: i want to plug inthe usb cable on my pc and n810 and get internet connection on my n810. the problem is hat in most cases i free wifi is not available, but a competer with internet connection is....
or is there maybe an adapter for ethernet to usb? (i dont think so... )

ok i found an adapter, but it sounds too crzy that this is going to work or does it?

im thinking of buying Crystal Blue USB to Ethernet 10/100 LAN Adapter
witch is mentkioned in the article.

can anybody give me a short advie about the patch witch is mentioned? i realy have no idea what to do with it. all the other instruction on the wiki are super clear and easy exept this patch thing....

I am using the Linksys USB100M and there was no patch. Just installed the software (from the step-by-step section) and it just worked.
