need help connecting my nokia md 7w speakers with n810----the bluetooth connection connects then drops out

I don't know if this is your issue but stereo over bluetooth uses a special protocol which isn't included in the tablet. Perhaps after the bluetooth connecting you get a disconnect when the stereo protocol times out on the speakers.

i think you might be right-because they work with my phone but not the tablet--

Try adding A2DP support to your tablet and use an appropriate player as described in the thread, "A2DP works, help me test it?" Or purchase a 3.5mm headphone plug to Bluetooth dongle, such as is sold for non-Bluetooth MP3 players.
