Glad you finally got it downloaded. But no unfortunately they seem to be binary files that make up the maps so unless navicore releases information on reading them....perhaps someone can prove me wrong.

Maemo Mapper can only read raster maps. The kind you have are vector. You'll have to use them through Navit if you want to use them.

I guess I was proven wrong. Thanks Lord Raiden, it's been awhile since I've used the default map program, I guess I forgot. I had nothing but problems getting Navit working, is it usable now? And although Navit uses vector mapping as opposed to the cooler but less usable raster mapping can you confirm that Navit can in fact open the graph.bin (and other files) ?

Navit is still classified as "alpha", so it's going to be flaky. But in time it will replace all the map programs on the maemo platform. So keep your eyes pealed, cause it's gonna be good when it gets done.

I find Maemo Mapper very useful and with the navigation features I need. It can use maps from a number of sources that are all free.
