Doesn't look very good for the nokia .....

Looks like it is 279$ for a two year contract.... Even that is a little too high for a winmo mobile phone!

Now with nokia with such wonderful specs... my hopes for below 200 are gone

Well, the unlocked version starts at $600, so $279 contract price sounds about right. I guess it is a good estimate of a price we can expect for N900.

A nice policy of T-mobile is regardless of what the subsidized price turns out to be, for an extra $50.00 you only have to sign up for a one year contract. Then in only 11 months you are again eligible to get a new subsidized phone. With a popular phone you can pretty much sell your phone after a year for the subsidized price you paid for it. That's what people are doing now with their G1's.
