Hello everyone this is my first post as a N810 owner!

I fear that i have hit a rut, trying to get my external wifi card injecting packets. I have a N810 and a home made powered hub. I am able to get the N810 to recognize the rt73 wifi card (used echo 1 > bConfigurationValue), but when i start airmon-ng it shows the rt2500 driver instead of the rt73. but when i "lsmod" in xterminal identifies it as rt73. I think the sollution is on this page

http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=rt73
"airmon-ng shows rt2500 instead of rt73"

but i dont know if i can safely mv anything from

/mnt/initfs/lib/modules/2.6.21-omap1. and i don't see anything in there for rt2500?

I have aireplay-ng on my table and run "aireplay --test wlan1" and i get "0 AP found"

Maybee i need a newer distro of Aircrack (airmon-ng)......

Anyway, im at my wits end and any help would be appreciated. PS i tried blackslisting all the rt2x00 recomended by airckrack-ng. however im not 100% sure i did it right- made file called "blacklist" in the /etc/modprobe.d/ directory and with vi added ~blackslist rt2x00 and so on for different lines.

thanks.
