I am having an issue with the Connection Manager on my N810.
Currently, I am only using WIFI connections, and that is all that I have configured. I have a connection for home, for my ATT WIFI, etc.
I can add new connections.
However, the following menu options that appear when I tap the icon for the connection manager do -nothing-.
"Select connection ... " : Once upon a time, I could tap this option and get a list of available connections. Now when I tap, nothing happens at all.
"Disconnect" : Previously worked. Now does nothing when tapped.
"Change connection ..." : Previously worked. Now does nothing when tapped.
I can make a WIFI connection to anything that I have a previously configured connection for. However, if I am in an area with two WIFI connections that I have saved settings for, it picks the first one on automatic detection and I cannot change it to any other.
If I want to disconnect, I have to press the power button and choose "Offline mode."
If I turn off automatic WIFI connection, I still cannot select which WIFI in the area I want to connect to.
The only way I have been able to fix this in the past is to go to Settings > Control Panel > Tools > Clear device ...
This is NOT a desirable solution has I then have to set up things all over again.
Is there something specific that I can clear for the Connection Manager to make it start working the right way again? What service should I restart? I've already installed root access.
