Anybody else with a Samsung LNxxA650 TV (my xx is 52), and found the right settings for irreco to setup on their N900? I looked up the remote on the internetz and came up with BN59-00673A for the remote control, but that's not helping in finding out what to choose for the settings.

seems a shame that this is un supported could be a killer app for the n900 and already looks so good in the video.

im tempted just to add the devil repo just to install this.

has the code been made public so someone could fork it ?

i would definately pay for this app or an app like it if it came up on ovi store

A public Git repository is at http://repo.or.cz/w/irreco.git. It's missing a couple of minor fixes. Maybe someone pushes the final changes when/if they got time.

Considering most of the devs have stated this isn't a finished product and are done working on it, it might be more fruitful to join efforts on the similar QtIRreco, which hasn't been abandoned AFAIK. That's doubly sensible considering the switch to Qt for Maemo 6.

I downloaded my remote but it just doesn't show the buttons!?
It only shows the xbox360buttons and the shutterkeylink(also downloaded those)

now the xboxbuttons are gone as well.

To control the light in my room, i need RC5, adress 8, command 0-9. How do i find this in lircdb?

HI, I've got Irreco wokring pretty well, built my self a sky+ remote with the volume keys coded for my tv instead, was wondering though, if anyone else had had any problems with the range of the remote, as I can't seem to get it to work from more than 4 feet away, and even then, it's quite unreliable.

Thanks if anyone can shed any light an either IR range, or software issues.

First time i was frustrated with my N900 (no offense to irreco team though). Every device i download does not show up in button configuration. all i get is the "special coammnds" set. what am i doing wrong?
