200mb limit on the o2 tariffs is very poor! careful you dont get charged when you go over that limit.
Seems odd, as going directly through O2 unlimited data really is unlimited, this is from the web bolt on policy (I have this on SIM only, 800 mins/unltd text/unltd data £20)
# The Web Bolt On allows you unlimited use of Telefonica O2 UK Limited's Edge/GPRS/3G networks (as applicable to your handset), for personal internet use via your mobile phone. All usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not use your SIM Card:

Does anyone know how much O2 actually check for the above? That is, does anyone use the O2 Web bolt-on on another handset and regularly tether this to a computer, or do VoIP? Streaming audio/video (assuming they mean more than just the odd youtube clip), P2P or file-sharing aren't so important to me, but I would certainly like to use VoIP and tether occasionally.
I ask because I use O2 already for a GSM-only phone provided by my work, and it would be easier to stick with O2 if I upgrade to an N900.
I have o2 unlimited web, it came free with my upgrade. I will be using it with the n900 when it arrives. On the bill it says my allowance is 2GB I have once gone over this and nothing happened. I have heard if you have persistently high usage they may have a go at you, but I haven't heard of anybody that this has happened to. Frankly I struggle to go over the limit in the month, and I do use it for youtube etc what stops me going over is when I am near free wifi e.g. at home I use wifi.
The new £20 and £25 price plans for 30 days and 12 months give customers "unlimited" data for as much mobile internet browsing and Facebook searching as required - up to a fair usage policy of 500MB.
The 30 day SIM-only plans give customers 600 minutes anytime, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £20 or 900 minutes anytime, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £25.
The 12-month SIM-only plans offer 900 anytime minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £20 and 1200 minutes anytime, unlimited texts, unlimited data and unlimited calls to landlines for just £25.

I use it for my laptop and the N810 whilst on the train or at client sites. Never had a problems and I use WiFi too where I can to get the speed up. Other than central London being crippled speed due to flooded network traffic it seems fine. I suspect this clause is really only for the idiots that use it for their desktops instead of a fixed line.
I had used the 3 discounts too and was confused by the new price hass had after re-ordering.
I read about people that had their orders reapplied and they simply added the discounts together and applied them in one fell swoop instead of cumulative - 3 codes would be 45%!
Last I heard you can't use multiple codes anymore. But I'm sure there must be a 15% code somewhere (I haven't been looking since I placed my order), and if you use it alongside a cash back site you can still make a decent saving.
