Nokia n810 stuck in reboot loop.

So when I start my n810, it'll show the nokia logo, then reboot with the progress bar. The progress bar goes to about 4/5 the way up, than reboots again.

So how do I fix this? Reflash it? How do I reflash it if I can't boot it up?

You dont need to boot up to reflash. Just hold down the home key and plug the charger in. Keep holding until you see the nokia logo, and you should be in reflash mode.

On a other note, my tablet first broke after I was playing some SNES and fring popped up and i had to yank the battery. Bootmenu showed some strange red text like: "Software update recovery! Do not interfere!" It booted up fine after a long time. Then, recently it just froze, so I had to pull the battery again! However, now it wont boot flash or SD! I guess I have to reflash...

And my n810 is my main device now, even more important than my laptop... and the weekend is over, what bad timing...

Is my n810 screwed up, or does it take a really long time?

I've had it running for about 4 hours, i've never reflashed before, so I dont know how long it takes.

And it should just show the Nokia logo, blank the screen, and show the nokia logo again, right?

The actual flash process only takes about 15 seconds on mine. If you use the windows updater, it takes a while longer (depending on your internet connection speed) because it downloads the most up to date firmware prior to the flash. After it's all downloaded it shouldn't take more than a half minute to be back at the 'blue screen of life'(tm) where configure your device.

i have exactly the same problem, my Nokia N810 reboot automatically, so impossible to stop it exept switch off the battery, so how process ? I have seen the post where you say to push on the "house " button, but there is not this button on the N810, only on the N800. Is someone have the solution please ?

In the N810 it is the "double square" button.

If it maters I am affected by this issue too
but it does not go father the nokia logo, no progress bar visible yet ...

I'll try to recover my files before flashing , if possible

flasher-3.0-static --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset -R

No more reboot loops and no need to reflash. I just leave it in that mode otherwise I'd have to reflash monthly.

flasher-3.0-static --disable-rd-mode --clear-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset -R

That will take it back out after you backup your data if the reflash doesn't reset it for you.

I tested both command and it still not boot , I guess my files on internal mem are gone forever now ?

Not to mention that by battery is wreck , but it used to boot when on power supply ...
