Personal computer my a $$

Nokia did nothing to differentiate it from a phone (copied the old processor and screen size of the iphone in fact and got rid of the bigger screen size and USB OTG of the tablets), just got unpaid members of the public the opportunity to work on its crippled deficencies in their own time

Even the unpaid members that can actually make a difference left this thread because of the likes of you two. Congrats. Talk about pissing in your own cereal.

Don't worry, all devels did a night shift, so even with new kernel your device will behave exactly like it did when you bought it. We implemented a detection "if user="jimx" which disables hostmode related stuff for your convenience, so you can keep your beloved N900.

Thanks btw for delivering the proof we were right to abandon this thread.
Ultra useful post - duh, just missed the "Thanks" button by 5 mm, lemme try again

It's a shame this thread is being closed/abandoned it was really interesting following the progress and I learned a lot of new low-level stuff too.

I don't know where this "other place" is but I just want to say good luck, keep going and hoepfully soon working USB "hosting" will become a reality.

@blue_led

Can you make a library for that and put it in extras-devel. Thanks.
