Nope, sorry. N900 will ship with Ovi Maps though.

I would buy that in an instant if it was available, but I'm not holding my breath. People (myself included) have been asking TomTom for a Maemo version since the 770 was new, but since then the existence of Navicore/Wayfinder (and soon Ovi) have probably acted as deterrents. Not to mention that after their respective acquisitions of TeleAtlas & Navteq, TomTom and Nokia are probably the biggest competitors in this space.

Sygic McGuider would be my 1st preference. Works great on my Nokia E71, except it is optimied for T9. Haven't tried the iPhone version. Don't know Ovi Maps well. Dedicated Tom I got good experience with though, and on an unrelated note they've released the car kit for iPhone recently.

Tom Tom abandoned the S60 OS because of hacking and theft of their software, so I doubt it comes to Maemo unless some sort of DRM is implemented. And I haven't seen any type of DRM that isn't penetrable. I think they'll stay limited to iphone, android, and blackberry, maybe winmo.
I love Ovi Maps, but I'd like to see some competition. Google is too lite, and Mapper isn't so great from what i saw.

Well in that case even the iPhone apps have been pirated before as well. It's just most people don't know how to do it (easily). As the other devices get more users then hacking will flourish there as well.

I'm 100% sure the normal TOMTOM go devices which they sell here in Europe are based in some flavour of Linux... so maybe TomTom software can run on the N900 with few modification...
I for one would consider buying an N900 if tomtom & opera mini/mobile apps were available. I also am a bit concerned about virus infections on this device, the s60 like windows vista/7 64bit only run signed apps but this OS does not look like has similar security measure in place, which makes this OS very dodgy to have in a mobile phone device... unless you on pay as you go.
Another device which I suspect might be quite interesting at this moment is the palm pre, palm years back purchase an OS from a French company that was amazing, called beos, beos at the time was able to run 4+ videos in parallel in old hardware such as 386 processors without any flickering... for that reason I think the palm pre might be an interesting device... beos was also a flavour of Linux...

You will find most things run on some form of Linux/Unix based system. Don't hold out for any TomTom port to Maemo 5. This will only happen if they decide to use this platform. There is a company call Sygic that are releasing a full voice guided sat nav system very shortly.
