I concluded that something must've remained active after I shut the Scummvm down (note: I shut it down from within the game, by pressing ctrl+M and choosing the quit option, not from the launch menu quit option, don't know if it matters)
I also have a weird feeling that after installing Scummvm the battery lasts shorter even without running Scumm, but I do believe that's just in my mind

I'm wondering if there is some pref file or something that is staying on the device even though I've uninstalled?

@fanoush, I have a daemon to poll the sensor (supports vibration feedback, stopping when the keyboard is blocked), which soon will be part of a daemon used for shortcuts.
You tell me how you would like to use it (i.e. what it should emit when ScummVM is running) and we will include that

I'm pretty sure this is the same problem i'm having. i also tried the same saved game with the same game files on the pc and the game did not crash like it does on the n900.

Download any Dos Game and save this in your N900. Then open the application "Scummvm" and click the Add Game and then browse in your folders and find the game which you want to play!
EDIT: I would appreciate so much if someone could tell me when I can find the game "Monkey Island 1" to download. I can't find this anywhere
Ever since then I've not been able to get it to launch.
It just quits back to the home screen.
I have uninstalled and re-installed a few times now, as well as rebooted in between.
I'm wondering if there is some pref file or something that is staying on the device even though I've uninstalled?
What would be the best way to fix this problem? Looking at the thread, it seems like others have similar issues.
I'm hoping it doesn't come down to reflashing :P
