If there is a video numbered 8, it means that there are 8 videos minimum. Once we can collect all of them here, it will make sense to convert it into one video and then upload it to YouTube. That way, we will have the complete video with good audio.

If those of you with the videos can forward the WOM World email to me, I volunteer to put together all the videos and upload them. My email is vaibhav (at) maemocentral.com

If someone else already has a few parts, then I'd be happy to send my 5.mov file to him. A download form youtube might result in a slight quality loss.

OK here is an update. I'm not 100% sure if all the clues have been posted yet.

I got some feedback from the peeps over at WOMWOrld and here is what they said.

We will be sending out some more clues this week, so just keep your eyes on the maemoproject site!

stobbsc, welcome, my fellow Freak. And thanks for coming and taking care of this today. I've been busy looking for work. Gotta pay the bills...

Glad we finally have all gotten together to work this out. I'll be forwarding my video to vaibhav. Thanks for volunteering to merge all these videos, by the way. Glad to see the community coming together, and its fitting that its here.

I, too, got a message from WOMWorld about further clues and the MaemoProject.com site itself. I hope that video from the summit appears. THAT would be pretty exciting for the general public. I'm sure all of the sites will be running that.

Has anyone contacted Maemo-Guru, AllAboutMaemo, or any of the other large Maemo communities to see if they've gotten video excerpts? I've tried, but have over 300 emails to answer, so not sure if they've responded yet. Someone has the other videos, I'm sure, unless we're waiting for more.

This is related to the movie "Paranormal Activity", but I don't know if the cast of these videos are part of the actual movie. I'd love to see a tie in via TV marketing. Anyone recognize the guys in the videos?

Hey guys, got an email earlier on today telling me to keep an eye on the http://www.maemoproject.com/ website. I've been flicking over intermittently but haven't noticed any changes as of yet. Looks like its due to change soon, maybe once we've deciphered the video, who knows...

Paranormal Activity is my guess too. Awesome movie btw, a must see. And don't make the mistake of downloading a half decent copy, make sure its clear, and try watching it on the big screen

I think we'll see more video clips tomorrow or later, and then we'll be able to show it off. The fact that no one else seems to have a good copy, and none surfaced on YouTube, we'll get to start some excitement showing it off to the world from our blogs.

I kind of think the video will coincide with the release, or be close to it. So when we see the video, expect more good news. And the extra time spent on the N900 may mean ASR/portrait and MMS a month early...
