I'm not sure about brainstorm, but there are a lot of seperate accounts on *.maemo.org, yes, including 'maemo.org', 'garage', and 'talk'. Brainstorm comes under #1, perhaps?

You can have at least three different logins that I can think of -- Talk, Garage/Main Site and Bugs.
Talk is this forum.
Garage/Main Site - It hosts the Brainstorm, and a lot of other stuff like news, downloads, thumbs up/down, ratings.
Bugs is the bug-tracker.

Oh, and you will want to edit your Garage/Main Site account to link it to your talk account. The allows you to have them linked.
