OK, yes. But what I wanted to know is, if the small triangle in front of a node is visible or not on your Maemo device (see attached image).

Hm, maybe it's a setting but no I can't seem to get the triangles to show on my N810 - just folder or page icons. It might be possible but I can't figure out how

    OFF-TOPIC

    @Tintin

That's a good list in your sig, helpful too, as, personally speaking, it led me to DragLock, which I had previously ignored.

Most obvious omission to my eye, is Brent's Quick Clip. You might also check out Vagalume Last.fm.

(Now I feel like I've offered an alcoholic one more drink.)

(Also, you might want to bookmark the misnamed Newbie link in my sig, if you don't already have it.)

The images in the first post do show it using a HildonMenu, FWIW.

Yes, and toolbar too, thanks for the correction. My bad, I was posting from the tablet, and the screenshots were too small :-)

Hey, cool that my 'ever-growing sig' was helpful
I do like draglock a lot as well as I use the desktop area for a lot of things.

I've tried QuickClip but for some reason I found that I never really used it. Maybe I should give it another try.

    Never tried Vagalume....will do

Edit: Tried it..like it a lot! (as you may see in my sig )

Still, the note app I use on a regular basis in Xournal. The key is that I can take notes with my stylus, including the ability to import a PDF file, mark it up with my stylus, and export a new PDF file. The downside is that each note is a separate file (although it can be multiple pages). It also doesn't support encryption.
thanks for bringing up xournal! it restarts my n810 sometimes, but the pdf editing capability (even typing and pasting!) IS GREAT.

Just found Keepnote as I was browsing the App Mgr

Promptly installed on my N800 and my WinBoxes (In my DropBox folder so it is available on all my machines)

I just finished manually "moving" all of my Notecase Notes to Keepnote. Looks good so far. Switching from Notecase as the most recent free version doesn't like the files from the Maemo version (& vice versa).

An automatic sync would be nice but I think I can remember to copy the file whenever I change it

    Thanks for the App.

    M

Any chance for a port of keepnote to Maemo 5/N900?
