No, the wiki list is now obsolete. I started it when it looked like we would have "only" a workshop with 50 people.

The Documentation part. Tero Kojo came yesterday with the idea and I said why not, if there is enough interest. A good chance for the Wiki group and the doc crowdsourcers to meet.

Americas. 1Q 2010? But no idea at this point since we want to see first a successful Long Weekend in Barcelona. US and Brazil (OpenBossa) are two candidates and, who know, maybe we can take both. Again, it would depend on the demand.

But we will do something and for this reason we might have very limited amount of Americans sponsored. Not because we don't want you but because we want you so much that we are going to organize another hackfest for you specifically.

Games is a topic that would almost deserve a hackfest in its own. Can you open a new thread?

Sadly, I can be there only on Saturday and Sunday, but I am sure I will enjoy it anyway

    Hi all!!
I'd like to assist to the general audience event.
Which time is planned to the presentacion of N900 and the developer training?

    Thanks!

I will start approving sponsorship requests right now.

If someone can create the /Accommodation page with the 15 double rooms... You know the deal.

Also if someone can help making the wiki page nicer... I asked in the UX thread in the Design forum without success.

Schedule, we still haven't nailed it down. But we have at least 2 developers/trainers confirmed for the GTK+/Hildon track and 2 for the Qt track. Friday will be the "user friendly" day, although... depends on what is the demand. We have got basically the whole building during 3 days.

8 sponsorship requests approved, most of them related to the UX meets Code hackfest.

I have in the waiting list requests of people more relatedm to the Localization or Documentation workshops. I'll be clear: if you help getting a critical mass of contributors involved then we will be able to organize such workshops and you will have big chances of being sponsored. As for now it is unclear that we have enough people to organize them.

    Fingers crossed

Seriously, I am more interested in the UX track but in all honesty it's more because of what I'd like to learn rather than what I already can contribute. For that reason, I put Docu as main interest: in that context, I believe I could be a net contributor.

Would be nice if someone split the info in subpages with a nice index (some 'templates' below), but please add the 'Events' category to all subpages and do not use CamelCase in the subpage names (otherwise GAN will kill you )

I changed some things now. Is the content of the section titled "Interested?" still valid? If not, I think we can remove it now (or at least the "add yourself to this thread" part).

Also, I think it would be nice if you could make a list of all threads related to this event here and specify which is for what (i.e. one for the UX meets code event, the other for project proposals, another one for the localization event, etc..).

Or (depending how quick you want to have the list of projects finalized) maybe we can also open another wiki page for project proposals to have a better overview?
