I have edited the page and added a section in Accomodation for people looking and (more important) willing to host sponsored partecipants in Barcelona.

    Hosting in Barcelona

Thanks for whoever is willing to host.

PS: I am particularly interested in this option as a member of CouchSurfing and as a means to share more (culture, ideas, knowledge) with people at the HackFest.

Currently we don't have any iconography for the event, which means that the badges we make will have the minimum: the text fields we had in the Maemo Summit.

If someone wants to create an iconography then the badges are the less critical support. Wiki page and perhaps t-shirt (if it's cool and it's done soon) would go first.

But there's still a need for new maps, event info, etc....

My girlfriend can help with the design of those since she's a graphic designer...

...or I could just build off what I did for Maemo Summit 2009, either way.

The agenda of the Long Weekend is a lot more relaxed, with most people supposed to be mainly in one type of activity. It's just one building quite near from a train and a metro station. The default audience are locals and the ones coming from other places will probably stay in a hotel 400m away.

The level of complexity is quite smaller and this is why I think a simple badge to identify yourself will be just enough.

Is there any generic text/email in English & Spanish for promotion ?
I've a friend studying at Barcelona that can do some promotion inside his university.

    Thanks.

We've added a documentation hackfest for Barcelona.

Anyone interested in attending for the documentation hackfest should
register ASAP indicating that you wish to attend so that we can gauge
numbers. We're looking forward to a productive session defining the
needs of developer documentation in Maemo, and working together to
improve the existing documentation as well over the weekend - maybe the
    Intro pages for maemo.org?

    Suggestions welcome.

More details and discussion in this thread.

    Dave.
