is there any online media converters that i can convert on the internet because i am tired of plugging my nokia into the computer so i can upload the videos into my nokia. so can anybody tell me anysites other than vidconvert because I am having trouble with vidconvert. First i was on the website then there it says that there was 335 videos in the queue then 336 now 340 and now 344. When is it going to stop increasing i mean i can't wait all day! then next thing you know, it goes up to 500 videos in queue

Hmm, "Media Converter Site" - you know it rings a bell... maybe this will help?

Hmm, you're right. I hadn't realised there were now so many there.

Dropping me an email would've worked: I've removed everything over a day old and the queue size has dropped to 160. It got so large because the backend had stalled, so a prompt would've caused me to look at it... and fix it.

It's worth noting that the VidConvert queue is back at 0.

It'll take video *pages* from YouTube and Google. It'll take video *files* from anywhere on the Internet (unless password protected etc.)

For sites which embed Flash video /like/ YouTube, you'll need to find the link to the FLV file itself and paste that into VidConvert. There are numerous browser extensions, bookmarklets etc. to do so, but if there's a suitable demand for additional ones, I'll see what I can do.

HTH,

Andrew

I don't really know, have you tried searching for an answer to that question?

Me. As I've just done.

However, perhaps emailing me directly would be more prudent in future? It's not like it's hard to find an email address on the VidConvert page.
