Well, I finally received a new 770 in the mail. It works great. They also included a battery and stylus with it, even though I hadn't included these when I sent mine in (per their instructions).
I'm very happy to have my 770 back, and am using it heavily again. I really appreciate having the spare battery also. I just wish the whole process hadn't been such a nightmare. It literally arrived in my mail on the final date before they said they would just send me a check for it's value.
