    I cobbled together a version of dm_loop for Fremantle. Please check (after it settles in extras-devel) if it's of any use in Easy Debian.

    attilla77: according to Matan earlier in this thread, dm-loop doesn't add any speed to the loop; in fact he said it slowed down the loop slightly. His tests also suggested that the loop speed in Fremantle was very close to the hardware speed...

    workaround for the df problem, add a / to the end:

    Yeah, I know, but it did feel faster for stuff on my microSD. Might be my microSD or placebo, don't know. Was working with RAID stuff (don't ask) so dmloop was a freebie...

    after a hard reset this stopped working so i reinstalled easy-chroot and easy-deb-chroot, and re doenloaded and installed the image, but when itry to lainch the app Debian chroot, all i get is this, any one know what im doing wrong?

    Just bought N900! Install Easy Debian! Thanks!
    But I found some problem: when I leave LXDE session with Ctrl-bakspace and run "Fix LXDE keyboard" and return back, session leaves itself after few seconds, I can print maximum only around 10 letter before. I wonder if it happens only with me
    If it is important - im using Easy Debian on 5Gb ext2 partition on SD, not image file.

    Has anyone managed to get FileZilla to install through Synaptic? come dependancies get a 404 error.

    Is it possible to make Fn key pressing in Easy Debian the same as in Maemo. Now user need to hold Fn key constantly while pressing another key. But in maemo Fn press "saves" some time.
