I just installed x11vnc from maemo-extras-testing on the N900 and fired up a VNC client on the Mac.

Wow!

Sure, I do it all the time. VNC client is available for N900.

I can see clearly now that I'm going to need to get an NX client and server both running on the N900.

This is great, I really need VNC for remoting into our workstations and server. I do it with my G1 a lot.

But with no trackball/pad, how do you control the mouse and right/left click with a N900? I tried to find an answer to this but never have.

That would be cool!

NX is way, way better, and real time fast. Only problem is that is built on KDE/QT.

Maemo6 should allow NX to work.

Qt's available in Maemo 5 as well.

I just tried running a VNC server on my Mac and used the N900 VNC client. Slow, but everything works.

Some one needs to cozy up to the NX folks and get them to port an NX client to the N900 right away. It would be a very popular, and useful app.
