XMarks allows you to configure various profiles - so I'd just add a new mobile profile to go with my work, home and ubuntu profiles aready.

And yes, of course you want the same bookmarks on the N900 as you have on your desktop. It's got the closest thing to a full desktop browser as I've ever seen, so why not?
