Current version is 1.2.5 if I am not mistaken, anybody know if newer better versions are inbound?

Anything is better than nothing by all means, but the current version still leaves a lot to be desired in performance and compatibility so I hope this project is still alive and under development.

has anyone suggested a touch screen dpad?

I say that 'cause the dpad on the left of the screen is disorienting. when i switch it to the left it's not much better. diagonal motion is hard to pull off.

DrNokSnes already has a touchsreen d-pad (enable it in the controller settings)...what would be a good addition is a touchscreen joystick. Though a joystick will require much more additional coding than the existing d-pad, it will allow for easy diagonal motions.

I like the On screen keyboard for the d-pad... but the image does not stay on the screen even when I chose "Show Onscreen Buttons" it only appears for a second when I load the ROM.

OK. I had full screen zoom on. Took it off and I can now see. Is there anyway to make the on screen Dpad a transparent overlay?
