Gotta get as much work as I can done between now and when postie arrives (any time between 10am and 12pm I think). Now the problem is that as early as 4:30pm I shall be needing to drive to Brum by car. So do I leave my N900 all boxed up and wait until I get to Brum and charge it all night, or do I charge it for only around 4 hours, then play with it for a bit in the car whilst the OH does the driving? Then make sure I give it a proper overnight charge when I get home and a proper discharge before another proper recharge!! (arg the dilema!!!) lol.
Just got through to MPD on the phone first time... that was easy! A friendly chap answered the phone too...
I'll be getting a call from the store sending mine out (ordered 10/10/09) - it hasn't been allocated to a store yet but will definitely be going out today. I should call back if I don't hear anything later on today... I did query the lack of "First Come First Served-ness" and he said it was "strange" but was very apologetic...
Doubt that helps anyone, but you never know :-) Now I just have to get through a day of work waiting for the phone to ring.
He said Special Deliveries are made on Saturdays so long as your local postie delivers on a Saturday... good job mine does!!
his crimma bonus might go up today though if he gets here soon.
