Is there a way of setting mapper to automatically insert marks at regular intervals into the tracking so that I have a better backtrack history? Sort of like a GPS logger. I would like to have regular 'snapshots' of what is happening at regular intervals. I assume that a mark would do that? So that way, at any point in time, I could tell where I was, how fast I was going, altitude, etc. I really like the Maemo Mapper track data as it shows very clearly where I've been and how I traveled there - I just want more data.

I've read several threads here on the topic, but I've not seen a way of easily doing this. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
