I'm respectfully requesting that anyone mirroring classic-gaming-wallpapers to please remove the package until we know what's going to happen with the Nintendo issue, thank you.

Yeah, it may be the most "hot" package right now, since emulators don't have legality problems (at least I think).

^Secondling what Zerojay is saying. A little patience now and with any luck this will all get sorted out. Impatience now might result in the whole project being short down and never properly finished.

It's Sunday - please, please wait till next week.

.deb files shouldn't need to be unpacked manually, they're input for dpkg. If you do want to disassemble one by hand you can open the .deb with ar, which will give you several tarballs, then you want the contents of data.tar.gz.

If that doesn't help, try just waiting for a bit - I'm sure they'll all wind up in a properly apt-able repo again at some point.

No need to write in big bright red letters.
Read a bit the related threads, they'll take a decisiona bout it the next week.

And even if they can't host emulators on maemo.org anymore, I'm sure there will be another way to support them.

Google is your friend, google deb and read up ....

Really though, everyone needs to stop panicking and take a reality check - this isn't a big issue and will be sorted out eventually.

Note: I have just uploaded the file so it may be a while before megaupload lets you download.
    Your welcome...

As Aweb said, there is no need for giant colourful fonts.

They've only been temporarily removed as a precautionary maneuver, just incase it does turn sour. The developers haven't been shot. I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon when the press finds something new to babble about.
