Wizzard mounter allows you to mount a windows share to your device. You can then see that share in file manager where you can copy to the device.

well over bluetooth you can use bluemaemo

Salling clicker is one of the best if not the best that there is for that. i use it for my media server with palm T3 and looking for a way to activate it on the N900 - i was successful running it (the .jar package, and with the garnet-vm), but cannot connect to the desktop.

I hope a solution can be found for that...

i have to dig this one out.

i'm looking to control winamp (pause, volume up/down, next song, search etc) thru my n900 - bluetooth or wifi, doesn't matter. i don't want to use real remote desktop, or bluemaemo to use mouse as keyboard, that's not an option. is there anything else?
as far as the search button works, there was not so many people for asking something like i'm looking for..

winamp webinterface isn't very good.

You could turn the N900 into a laptop mousepad too while your at it, i wouldn't mind that!

And even a keyboard, minus the screen of the desktop, i would kill for the n900 as wireless peripheral.
