so this bug was filed in oct 29, 2009. And they never thought of FIXING it before releasing this damn phone? isn't this what the one month delay was for? to fix broken stuff?
Perhaps the amount of resources to fix bugs is limited? Quality control, final packing and distribution take a LOT of additional time, too.
The bug is not appearing always, only sometimes. So it's more difficult to find.
And perhaps they had other priorities? (More urgent bugs etc.)
Be patient - we will soon get another firmware update, and the device also features over-the-air software updates that will arrive in due time, too.
I had this issue with the latest Firmware since day one. Reflashed the phone and have not had the issue again in the last 4 days, it might brake again but it has't yet. Its actually working realy well now.
